Memoria Nascosta — a second life for antique things

Memoria Nascosta means “hidden memory” in Italian. An antique fabric, lace or thread has a history of its own, which over time has been tucked away in boxes and on far shelves. In this collection it becomes visible again, now in clothing for artist dolls.
Every outfit has its own vintage part: a fabric, a fragment of antique lace, a rare antique bead, a ribbon, or the very thread the piece is crocheted from. Before work I wash the material, press it and see how it behaves. Even a small damaged piece can become a motif of its own.
That is why each outfit exists in a single copy, and you have the chance to find among them the one that will become part of your collection. A material with a long history will continue its journey beside your doll.
